Lisa DeBartolo hugs Branden McDaniel, the Valedictorian of the first graduating class (2009) of Brooks-DeBartolo Collegiate High School. The DeBartolo Family Foundation awarded McDaniel, a 4-year, 120-credit hour Florida pre-paid scholarship. He will be attending the University of Florida.
Since 2001, the Foundation has awarded more than $450,000 to area students.

Total of $65,000 Awarded to Tampa Bay’s Graduating Seniors
May 12, 2009 – The DeBartolo Family Foundation announced that 26 Tampa Bay area graduating seniors will each receive a $2,500 college scholarship through the organization’s annual high school scholarship program.
Since 2001, the DeBartolo Family Foundation has awarded $450,000 to area seniors entering college who have achieved academic excellence despite certain financial and personal obstacles.
